No, technically this forum is about the current events of the day, and as a place to relax and mingle. This thread is currently dealing with the topic of the Peo's birthday thread and large threads, and the topic of topicless threads. It's an all encompassing topic for all topics, which itself is a current topic.

How exactly are the admins socialist? I can see this being an oligarchy, no problem there. Communist, may be. They do put us all down on the same level. Well, not pure communism. In addition to posting in the ASP forums, I poked around in the other forums to see how people were behaving. Sadly, things have not improved and even the same previously mis-behaving moderators are still up to their mean old ways. At any rate...
I was going to just keep myself to the ASP forum, again, because those that post in that forum seem to be able to behave themselves, on average, better than those who frequent the other forums. As part of coming back, I was trying to get my profile updated. One of the fields I could not access was the custom text field which had "Goodbye" in it. The ASP Forum moderator was not able to help me with this and referred me to Pete (CompguyPete).
Well, in the process of giving me access to this profile field, Pete couldn't keep his cotton-picking mouth shut, for nothing, and proceeded to lambaste me for deleting my approximately 5,330 posts from before -- and, in the process, he also said, "Welcome back." Ha! So I wrote him back and criticized him for not being able to just let bygones be bygones and keep his mouth shut. I also told him to go ahead and ban me so that I would never be tempted to come back to WebDeveloper again. I then, manually, deleted all of my new posts (near around 50, I think) and changed my profile to say "Goodbye, for good" and left -- for good.Maybe that is why Pete was downgraded. Anyway, when I questioned Ryan, his story was the same as always. He criticized me for being too involved, etc. Pete actually gave me a similar story to Dave's, except he never mentioned the part about himself mentioning Dave's deleted posts, and said that Dave had begun criticizing him from the start, etc ...
There you go. That happened about 1 month ago ...
