1. I'm not too sure about those colours... that main background is borderline hideous. Also, the design itself is somewhat bland, but it gets the job done, I suppose. It just feels like there's a lot that (sh/c)ould be done with the design, it's like a theme paper... very little design added. However, the coding side looks good, well written and semantic. It's just that a lot more could be done with the design.

Oh, yeah, and in your CSS change font-weight: light; to font-weight: lighter;.
