Well, I'm assuming you read the sticky thread in this forum. If you haven't, please read it, and save me a little time (that's one of the reasons I posted it ;)). Anyway, as far as design goes, you did an excellent job, though the repeating background seems to be spaced in one area for your dropshadows. There is a technique to fix that, but you have to design your layout with CSS first. ;) I like the style changer, because sometimes you just want to see a different color, and other times you like what's there. It's clean and simplistic. You might want to look into using external JS files to cut down on the file size of your HTML documents, though. Keep up the good work!

I'm surprised this wasn't done in full CSS, seeing as this is the kind of layout CSS is best at.

Not necessarily best at, just most commonly used and also the easiest.
