I don't know how many Xbox players we have on these forums, though perhaps many of you have at least played the PC version. Anywho, I loved Halo, the game was truly brilliant. And I've been so psyched about Halo 2 (November 9th, preorderded it in June, at a discount I might add). Well,

I got the crack for halo for pc... I love it. If I had to pay for it I would never play it (ut2k4 is better anyway imo). WOW is kinda cool, but I would not pay a fee to play it, same w/ many other mmorpgs. I just heard that valve has a little plan to charge a monthly fee for use of steam... I would never pay it (personally I hate valve... they can shoot somes steam up their arse).

Yeah I heard about this too. Sucks bigtime. Imagine spending 3 years working on it, to know that some sh** has betreyed the group and your work is being stolen freely.

At least the release date is unaffected (Even though you Yanks get it 2 days sooner, I guess ya just need the practice huh. ;) ). I've been waiting to play Halo on Xbox LIVE! for WAY too long now.

I made a DVD of some of the stuff I did on Halo. Can't put it on the net though because I can't figure out how to get it from being a DVD disc to some sort of downloadable file that'd run on PC's.

I dont play halo much at all (for one thing i dont own it :P and if i did i haven't been playing games much anymore for one because i dont have time with college and work and :P) but for that large of a scale game to be stolen like that is quite a loss to the ppl who made it

yea, ive heard of this too (this is the main game i play once in a while with a friend, counter strike that is) but a monthly fee would not be worth it. valve is only good because its what's available, if there were other options i would change to those, but there isnt >.< if they do go to the monthly paying system though, ill just play cs lan :P

yeah i play CS:CZ sometimes, less and less now, but if steam introduced payment thing i would just uninstall it and throw away my cds, or give them to some poor kid

counter srike is teh suck. More like counter gay. Mohaas and ut2k4 are the games for me.

dune 2000 was a classic... too bad the races were all off balanced though. Harkonen clearly raped the Attraids and the Ordos. I wish I could have air units... or atleast command the carryalls to do what I want.

I played online on westwood several times, but raped the campaigns. Man you are making me want to reinstall and play for old time's sake. Its 1:00am its not going to happen tonight... but I want to... but I cant.

yeah i realised that ;) guess im just a tease, ok i could give them to some normal kid who can afford to play or throw then in the bin, o well until they do i will play it now and again, im more of a strategy guy eg C&C, AOE myself

Am I the only one here who doesn't play online, or on my computer? Teh GTA, FF, Tekken, THPS/THUG, SSX... good stuffs. I just can't get into computer games. Of course, at one time I couldn't get into FPS', but then some multiplayer MOH: RS and lots of shotgun ammo later...

i go from playing halo, to playing medal of honor(rising sun)....both great games in my opinion
