Firefox is steaming ahead, lol, im surprised i thought more people would use IE. I suppose most people on this website have more sense than to use IE (no offense ment to anyone using IE :) )

I used to use Firefox, Opera and Netscape roughly equally. But I can't get Opera to install on this thing and I didn't bother check for netscape as I assumed it wouldn't be available. So now I just use Konqueror and Firefox.

Firefox. Nothing compares. I don't have much against Opera, though, of which you missed on the poll.
I'm for FireFox but there is no way this poll will be accurate. This is a forum full of web developers who all happen to like FireFox. If you deployed a poll like this on some general forum you would probably find that allot more people use IE. :(

I have: Amaya (PUKE!), Internet Explorer (ick), Firefox (meh) and Opera. I mostly use Opera.
I'd like to get a "testing computer" together for website design, that has as many browsers as I can get my hands on.
As for IE, a similar poll posted in January was set on another web development forum (Lissa Explains It All, it's a pretty good place) had the following results:
Out of 109 who posted
Internet Explorer: 75.23 % (82)*
Mozilla: 11.01% (12)
Firefox: 7.34% (8)
Netscape: 4.59 % (5)
Opera: 1.83% (2)
*I was using IE at the time, I didn't have Opera then.

I've actually relied on that source severaltimes for htaccess stuff. I was not aware a forum was set-up there, however. Or wa sit just a poll?

Right in the navigation tabs, it says "Forum". And it's an actual forum. Mostly younger web developers, but hey, teach them while they're young!

I think this poll mostly says......what the good webdevelopers are using in terms of browsers. It sets a good example of where we should be going in terms of browser evolution.
