Why would anyone WANT to hide their code?

To me, that's just holding back someone who wants to learn HTML. Heck, I wouldn't mind having my own code picked apart and used. I know mines a bit complicated, but, hey, if someone wants to see how it's done, why not let them see?

Some amature developers need to hide their source code as they have used silly JavaScript login scripts, etc.

Also, some people may want to hide the file locations and folder hierachy on their server.

Its only something beginners ask...
