Snmp_get

Hello all,

Im planning a project for uni that involves monitoring a network remotely via a web interface. SNMP (Simple Network Monitoring Protocol) will be installed on each computer but i need to work out a way of interacting php with SNMP. I was just hoping somebody my have any pointers about where i could find any info about doing this so i can start coding. I know you it is possible using SNMP_GET but have no idea how to even start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One place to start would be http://www.php.net/snmp (though it seems they've mucked up their internationalization script in the last couple days - German phrases keep popping up in various headings).
