Hi...I'm doing a study, and it's been pretty exasperating asking google, yahoo, or msn about anything specific.
So...do you know any WELL KNOWN website using frames to open up other websites under theirs?
Thank you in advance!:)

Hotmail. When you click on a link from your email, Hotmail opens up a frame page. The top frame has a link to return to hotmail, and the bottom frame contains the page.

Google's image search also uses frames once you've clicked on an image - and they include a "remove this frame button" at the top.
I've also been using the same technique for some news pages I've been putting on my own site - using google's news services......

What source do you mean?
Essentially I use a frame page with a menu page and a results page. Make sure you set the target links to show in the correct frame (I keep forgetting and links turn up in the wrong frame- Doh).
Other than that its all standard frame use.
There's a bit of code somewhere on the javascript site that'll open up your menu and a third party page in another frame, but I can't remember where - try the search box.
