i've read that in the future the tld .info will become the 2nd on the internet (.com will be forever 1st );)

Well, nothing has quite the same class as .com and .net, although for non-profit groups, .org is quite appropriate.

.info and .biz just don't seem very professional.

would perhaps be a good name for an Eminem site to sell wares to do with him just becuase his band is D4

I think there is scope for using .info domains

After all info is what people are looking for perhaps info domain sites would be a great way to show what is available for a certian thing

Like the example Eminem above you could have on dj4.info as much merchandise to do with eminem as possible and the genre of music in genearl and also Concert ticket info with your own affiliate links to the ticket sellers so that even though people are just being given the info they are looking for the site owner is earning throught the links.

It could well be in the future that people turn to the .info urls as an alterative to a dot com search

But only if a whole buch of peeps start raving about it as an alternative of course
