I might have to scrape some funds together and pawn the mac II I have sitting in my closet. Ben Rogers 10-30-2004, 09:36 PM Wow, I feel pathetic. I'm not even totally sure if this is a joke or not... buntine 10-31-2004, 02:52 AM The advert is just old (about 15 years). These days, that package would go for about $20. rhsunderground 10-31-2004, 12:12 PM $20? i wouldn't give a nickel for that. Ben Rogers 10-31-2004, 12:17 PM Originally posted by rhsunderground $20? i wouldn't give a nickel for that. I would. I've always wanted to see if I could get an idea of how a computer works. davidbrent 10-31-2004, 12:51 PM And it's that cheap! Paul Jr 10-31-2004, 01:10 PM Wow... rhsunderground 10-31-2004, 01:13 PM and to think that that was top of the line technology once... davidbrent 10-31-2004, 01:38 PM it says "New for 89" so i guess buntine was right, it's 15 years old. Daniel T 10-31-2004, 01:49 PM Meh, my mom has got an '85 Mac (the monitor is built into the computer!). She said she paid $8000 for it. And $8000 was worth a lot more back then... "lightning-fast 20MHz" that's not far off from our family computer (850MHz) :o I need to get wit teh times. rhsunderground 10-31-2004, 01:53 PM we used to have a phoenix 486. man those things were cool. then there's the Thinkpad that my dad had with Win95, an external floppy drive, and an eraser-head mouse (minus the eraser). i remember when i nearly crapped my pants because my folks got a 500 mHz compaq with a 4x CD-RW drive for christmas. those were the days... Daniel T 10-31-2004, 02:01 PM LOL, my friend has a Commodore :D AdamGundry 10-31-2004, 03:23 PM I used to have one of those (a Commodore 64). It was amazing - all the good games I had ran on cartridges, rather than floppy disks. Ahh, nostalgia. Actually, it was pathetic, and eventually I saved up enough money for a PlayStation, then a PS2, neither of which I use because I'm too busy coding. Adam davidbrent 10-31-2004, 05:20 PM San Andreas looks amazing! Ben Rogers 10-31-2004, 05:21 PM Originally posted by davidbrent San Andreas looks amazing! Looks? Is. PeOfEo 10-31-2004, 05:25 PM I would buy that system in a heart beat. I would take it to the lan party and plug it in for effect. Daniel T 10-31-2004, 06:19 PM Originally posted by PeOfEo lan party *crys* I want a LAN party!! We have no LAN parties here! The closest place to here with any G33KZ is.. well..
