Meh, my mom has got an '85 Mac (the monitor is built into the computer!). She said she paid $8000 for it. And $8000 was worth a lot more back then...

"lightning-fast 20MHz" that's not far off from our family computer (850MHz) :o

I need to get wit teh times.

we used to have a phoenix 486. man those things were cool. then there's the Thinkpad that my dad had with Win95, an external floppy drive, and an eraser-head mouse (minus the eraser). i remember when i nearly crapped my pants because my folks got a 500 mHz compaq with a 4x CD-RW drive for christmas. those were the days...

I used to have one of those (a Commodore 64). It was amazing - all the good games I had ran on cartridges, rather than floppy disks. Ahh, nostalgia.

Actually, it was pathetic, and eventually I saved up enough money for a PlayStation, then a PS2, neither of which I use because I'm too busy coding.
