ok i put this in accessibilty as i think its best here if not please move me!

ok i generally design and build sites on a pc, but i have got a new job where im required to design and build on a mac. can you tell methe types of general problems im going to run into becuse i have never designed a site on a mac before. im going to use these points and try get my boss to buy me a pc for websites! so all the help and info you can please! i understand accessibilty but my boss has no idea what it is, and to be honest dosnt care, simple becuse his clients dont! which is bad i no, so help me convert him!

Building your web sites on a mac doesn't really affect the accessibility of those pages - it's still html. However you would need a pc as well for testing purposes, because mac browsers are often slightly different to PC ones. Then ofcourse you could use either to build and just test on the other.

yeah thats what i mean, i need reason to prove to my boss i need a pc to build it on, since most of teh peopel viewing the site will be on pcs (its a shopping centre site) i think its only fair it should be designed for pcs, then checked on a mac and not vise versa, yunnow? does that make sence? so i need all teh reasons you can think of for me to get a pc!

Well if you develop to standards i dont think there should be too much difference between browsers on PC or MAC only IE i "think" will render it different from the PC version but even if it does it should be minor.
