I'm new to this entire web design thing, but i'm really starting to enjoy it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to make it so that the middle of my web page has its own scrolling text area. For example, if I wanted the middle area of this template: www.chop-it-up.com/NewSite/Site_Layout.jpg to have a separate scrollbar from the rest of the page. I don't know if I should use frames, or scrolling text boxes, or what. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

you will have to devide your page into 4 frames, left,right,top and middle. And whenever you will click on any button from top, left or right then you will use _mainFrame as target of the URL.

Or, more preferredly, you could make a scrollable div, something like the following:

<div style="width: 400px; height: 100px; border:1px solid; overflow:auto">
