Hey Everyone,

I was thinking about it, and needed some feedback. Alright, on the internet I am known as Neczy, because my last name is Neczypor. Its all well and good, but I want to have a profession in some sort of web design, and have a question. Is it good to have a nick name to go by? Or would it jsut be better to use my real name, Martin, so people remember who I am so i can get a reputation? (hopefully good). I am the only Neczy, but there are many Martin's. It almost sets me out, in my opinion, from the rest, but what do you all think?

well similarly i have thought about my username. the biggest thing is that it sets me apart from everybody else because it's unique. people remember things that are unique.

The nickname is fine. Use your real name in any professional correspondence. The FROM alias of your email ought to be your real name, not your nickname.

You definitely want to build an online reputation, and the nickname is fine for that. Your professional reputation should be assosciated with your real name. With any luck, both will follow you.

Just my opinion.

rhsunderground, by the way, i think has the coolest avatar of all time on this forum...
