When I surfed to disney.com with Firefox running under Mandrake 10, without Flash installed, I arrived here: http://disney.go.com/guestservices/upgrade/index.html, where they prompted me to use Netscape 7, Internet Explorer 5, or some other 'standards compliant browser'.

The page doesn't even have a freaking doctype.

It's like the developers went to a Zeldman lecture and brought nothing home from it but the buzzwords.

Ugh. Misinformation of the public.

Not to mention the whole thing requires JS to even completely render.

Ha ha ha, How crap is that?

I'm using WinXP with IE6 with everything set as standard and I still get that message!

I'm not sure if you got the point, but Internet Explorer isn't standards-compliant. They aren't referring to settings.
