Currently using and teaching in DW MX, and very familiar with Homesite.
I'm looking for suggestions for editors or other development environments however - to recommend to my students and perhaps to use next time I teach this class.
Much grass.

For about 6 months I just used Notepad. Then I switched to Araneae. (http://www.ornj.net/software/araneae/) Then when I ditched Windows I switched to Bluefish (http://bluefish.openoffice.nl/). So long as it saves as plain text (and has a line counter (and is free)) I'm not really arsed.

I like HTML-Kit (http://www.chami.com/html-kit/). I can't claim to have tried lots of other tools, but this one does the job for me and the price is right (free), so I haven't bothered looking elsewhere yet.
