Hi,
I have a problem with my pc.
I don't know how but my computer doesn't support java anymore.
So now i got a problem with a lot off sites.
I tried to find a solution, like installing it again or whatever, but till now I can't find any.
So my question is, can anyone help me to give the directions to get the java back on my pc?
Thanks
If you really mean java, and not javascript, then you need to go to http://java.sun.com/getjava and download the java interpreter...Is that what you mean?

Hi, I guess we have the same problem. I just found this post after I posted my own about the same thing.
I hope someone can help you because I need an answer too. I have been to so many different forums and I haven't got it fixed yet.
Good luck to you.

and try to start up the game PASSWORD or FAMILY FEUD , it just doesn't start.
the same problem i got with the game spelbound on the site, iwin.com

spyro
I am now downloading what u thought that I needed to do,
but I guess that is not the one i need cuz last week I already tried that one, and that option is just downloading java web start and The Java Runtime Environment , but I specificly need java virtual machine. At least that is what I found out this week.
What kind off java software do you have in the settings under the option SOFTWARE. can u please look for me?
and thomas
can u remember how that problem started with you?
cuz i also found a site that said that the problem also starts when u use or download netzip or getright.
the last one is a download program
and I had use those two both in the time the problem started with me...............
The link that I pointed you to is all the java files that I have installed on my computer...

I'm not sure how it started for me. I haven't downloaded either of those programs. I downloaded Serif 3D, but I doubt that's what caused it. I thought I might have inadvertently deleted some files while I was doing some semi-routine maintainance using a program called temp cleaner. Some files were not automatically deleted by the program, so I deleted them manually, but they were temp files, so I didn't think it would do any harm.
Anyway, I also tried downloading the JRE from sun and the JVM from microsoft, but neither solved my problem.
Prior to this I was working on a java menu applet for my website. That and everything else was working fine until about a week ago.

helloooo I just got it fixed
the site i went to is :
http://java.sun.com/getjava/manual.html
almost on the bottum of the site there u see several ways to install what u need
the choices are according the country or/and language you need
when u installed that, u just click on the icon that is on ur desktop and for me that did it.
so try it out and if you can't manage write another message ok?
good luck

My problem must be something different. I have installed this a few times now, but it didn't help. This time I uninstalled first and re-installed it. Still nothing.
