What program(s) do you have access to? You must have an animation graphics program in order to create animated graphics.

You'll have to buy one, most likely. ImageReady by Adobe Software (http://www.adobe.com/) is what I use, but there are many animation programs out there.

Is the animation a simple one ?

if it is then you dont need software to create them.

although you would need to be able to create the images.
For this you would need a program such as adobe imageready or
macromedia fireworks.

All you would need to do then is to learn a little javascript to
change the image at a certain interval.

do you have a specific animation in mind?

Of course, you'll want to bear in mind that users without JavaScript then will not see the animation.

I use Fantamorph for all my animation. So far it's the easiest and cheapest (shareware) I've found. They have an 'image sequencer', you can create all the pics you want, put them in order and click, you're done. You can morph 2 or 5 pics together too, of course.

http://www.fantamorph.com (www.fantamorph.com)

This is my first time using this forum so if I f it up.....sorry.

:D

you can, but then as Jona mentioned not all will see it. Also, using an animated gif instead i think is better as its only one image being loaded then instead of with js where it will have to load each one.

I see you're still looking for an ani gif....Photoshop comes with an animation program, is that what you are using? Open Photoshop/File/Jasc Software Products/Launch Animation Shop... and do it. I have it but I've never used it, I use Fantamorph. If your version of Photoshop doesn't have the Animation Shop/or does but it's not working then you need a program.
Search the web for animation programs, there are tons of 'em out there. They usually have a demo and most let you keep the work you do...but not all.

Post your 2 images here and I'll do it for you,..it only takes a minute, er 30 seconds really.

Is Animation shop the same as Image Ready, Because in Image Ready there's an animation thing, with slices and stuff

I don't know what 'Image Ready' is. Play with it, read the 'Help', maybe it is similar. You can always send them an email and ask. If it's a No then it's a No, but if it's a YES then they'll probably send you instructions, a number of companies have done that for me...if you get instructions, print them out. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

If your images are small email them to me and I'll do it for $99.99 lol kidding...I'll do it for free, no prob.

You're right, it's a morf thing. But it has an 'Image Sequencer', you can add all the pictures you want and it put them together (that's what animation is really). Or you can put one picture in it to change it from BMP to GIF or whatever.

Try the demo if it's still availible and make your logo. You said it's only 2 images, so 'sequence' it, resize it there too if you want.
