Hi there. Thank you for your reply.
Apologies for posting in this forum, I see now - I hope you don't mind... I thought you guys would have a lot of knowledge so it seemed like a good idea. If it causes a problem I apologise. :)
From that EVEREST app: CPU FSB: 199.89MHz (original: 200MHz).
Thanks.

Hello.
Yes, just confirmed, it is 800mhz, EVEREST only gives the details of the single, as it's a P4 it needs to be multiplied by 4, so 800mhz.
So decent? :)

it looks good to me ;) generally speaking I prefer a full atx mobo, but that depends on personal preference, case size and whether you really want to add lots of extra pci cards...

ATX mobos are wicked with the modded LAN-SHOWOFF cases :P
Heheh. Neons look awesome!

The system sounds nice. I guess the overall determining factor would be what you intend to use it for. It very similar to what I run however, and I have no problems running mutliple software applications simutaneously, gaming, or the like. So, I think it will serve your well :)
Hope this helps and Happy Holidays all

the ram is a little on the slow side. I am running pc-3200 myself. Other then that it looks dandy.
What did you pay for it? As we have established it is always cheapest when it is home made.
The 848 system is great btw, I am using it myself on my msi board.

Hi there.
Thank you for all the feedback.
I now have the system and it has been absolutely brilliant!
I bought the box standalone as I'm going to purchase the Dell TFT monitor seperate (which I still need to do). This time though, I am thinking of getting the 20" dell tft.
Is 800mhz FSB bad? I'm not really sure what it means/does and what a good mhz on it is...
Thanks again!

800mhz front side bus is the best bus you can get (stock) with an intel processor. All intel pentium 4 procs with an 800mhz front side bus have hyper threading on them, which is also pretty cool.
Also, how much did you pay?

Yea, I'd get PC3200 memory to use your cpu's fsb to its full potential. Also, I've heard NEC drives have not been too reliable lately (just the buss on my pc hardware forum), I'd stay with your video card if you are okay with it. Nice screen. Also, I'd swap the motherboard and get the most stable and best bang for your buck one: the asus p4p800 Deluxe. Good Value.
