... does the W3C validator accept the code that Dreamweaver applies to the page when using templates?

Have "Dreamweaver" and "valid" ever been used in the same sentence for anything other than a punch-line?

... i take it that mentioning Dreamweaver here is usually accompanied by hisses and boos?

Lol. No. I was just kidding around. Plenty of people here actually use Dreamweaver. It's more how Dreamweaver is used that is the cause of its mockery, not the actual use in general.

I have no idea if the templates will actually be valid or not as I myself do not use it. Although regardless of their validity, I'm pretty certain they will be of a very low quality indeed.

... i'm just now cutting my teeth on Dreamweaver because i recently landed a full-time job as a web production coordinator and use it all day, every day.

i started out writing HTML with the venerable MS Notepad then moved on to 1st Page 2000 by Evrsoft and now it's Dreamweaver. So i'm learning as i go along.
