Many times a day i get this messege



Database error in vBulletin :

Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

mysql error number: 2013

Or at my page i get the messege that connection to Mysql Lost or There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server...

Any ideas how i can fix this?

I'd be willing to bet it's a misconfiguration in the mysql server. It could be something else though. What's the setup here? Is it your own machine or is it one you're renting from a hosting provider? Is the http server and the php module on the same machine as the MySQL databases and server, or are they on seperate machines?
