It's quite simple, but the contrast is decent and the interface is easy to use and understand, for the most part. I would suggest using header elements to outline document flow so that I know where to look first, otherwise I'm just a bit scattered. The "Newest PHP Tutorial" text, for example, is larger than the "Small updates today" text. A header should be above the updates boxes in larger text that says, "Updates" or something similar.
