Hey all,
I'm looking into making a linux box into a webserver. Technically, it is already a webserver, because I used it in college, where I had a static IP and a friend set up the DNS.
Currently, I live in Chicago and use Comcast.
My first question is to the general community: Because I didn't set up the DNS myself, I have no idea how to do this. Is there a how-to out there that describes how to do it?
My second question is to those who use Comcast and have their own webservers: Is there a special service you have to go with?
Any help would be well appreciated. And I am veritable newb when it comes to configuring stuff, so be gentle please.
