Does anyone know how to disable javascript in IE, Netscape, Opera, or Firefox, so that I can see how a page will be displayed if it is disabled?

IE and Mozilla have toolbars available where JavaScript can easily be switched on and off.
IE:http://www.nils.org.au/ais/web/resources/toolbar/index.html
Mozilla:http://www.chrispederick.com/work/firefox/webdeveloper/

In Opera at least, you can do this through the Quick Preferences under "File."
