help required in graphics ?

Hello !

Hope anyone can tell me that the following site uses which graphics software or from which site this type of graphics like the images of "Recent News" or "Children Drawings" or the linked pics below like : "Subscribe with us" etc have been taken/designed:

please guide me about creating similar graphics in some assorted programs.
I have used photoshop but finally I go for Xara WebStyle, but the version which is not free. So, limited graphics are made.
