Happy 03_03_03 eveyone!

I have a (wierd?) question.

Is there a way to find out the folders/sub-folders/file contents of a site from outside of the site?
In other words, the directory structure of a site?

I know that this can be done in VBA using FileSearch, but I was wondering if it can be done on the web as well.

I'm not trying to actually do it (so cool your jets and don't start hammering at me for being devious). I only want to know if it can be done - not how to do it (I more or less just want to know how devious other people can get if they chose to be so).

Ok. That was it.
just wondering and apparently very paranoid...

Thanks as always Dave.

(hmmm... perhaps I should have posted this question on the Food Channel’s deep-fry forum, since the answer appears to have as much to do with ASP as it does with chicken & ribs).
Ok khaki... it's time to buy the shrimp boat and box of chocolates after than one (lol).

So, surmising (also known as repeating almost verbatim), if one were to place an index.htm file in every folder... and include the following code within those index.htm files:
<html><head>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT=".1;URL='/'">
</head></html>
... one would not be in the hot water that one expected prior to asking this question?

Whew! Cancel my appointment with the Director of the Witness Protection Program... I'm stickin' around after all! (ha-ha. too bad!)

It all sounds almost too simple, Thanks for all of the replys everybo.... ummm... Dave. lol !!!

sometimes lost, but always easy to find...
