This page has got some not-so-good reviews last time; I have now completely rewritten all the CSS and JavaScript. Tell me what you think about it now.

I don't really like menubar at the top. I don't know if it's the color or the little things on the end. I don't like the menu under more. It looks like an alt tag not a menu.

To be XHTML complient you should use lowercase tags. The stuff in your counter is not compliant.

The American Flag animation is reeeeeeeally cheeeeeesy. Please junk it. And I personally think you could make use of better buttons.

Also, why don't you have a consistent look across your website? Users often use the design of a site to decipher where they are, and consitancy is the key. It's almost like I'm going to different websites, which some of your links lead to. In fact, no other page seems to have the same layout as the home site.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the menu at the top is not mine, it comes with the free web hosting.

There is another script on the page, which is the counter. I like to use it coz it is invisible, but it will throw half a dozen errors when I try to validate. I have never seen an XHTML counter anyways.

The part of the page that I have control over validates as XHTML strict.

MstrBob - good point with the gif animation. I'll replace it with some Flash. There is no consistency because all the links really are different sites (they don't even link back to this page). The only thing they have in common is that they are mine. So the 'website' is this one page. As I said, it has no real purpose and will probably be visited by my friends only.

:( you don't like my menu... it is supposed to be into the flag theme, the long red stripes, the wind-blown-cloth-like texture...

When you move the cursor over the "Best Jokes" link the description says over 500 jokes, and when you click on it the next page says over 700 jokes.

The mistake was on the jokes page. I stupidly counted all the <li> elements forgetting that the menu contains <li> as well. I fixed it now. thanks, you have a very sharp eye.
