I am working on a Multimedia Presentation for a company.
Anybody convey some ideas about some famous softwares and tips and tricks of making such presentations ?

Your question is kind of vague, but a very good way to present multiple formats of multimedia at once is to us Flash MX Studio. Flash is easy to learn due to the immense support it provides, relatively cheap in terms of applicability, and can handle numerous types of multimedia.
If your looking for something less advanced, I'd use powerpoint (hiss) or something similar.
I hope I have interpreted your question correctly.

Flash is a great tool. Director is another great tool, I've enjoyed that more. Powerpoint can do quite a bit, if you're presenting directly.
I've been looking for a link. I couldn't find it. Know that there is a company out there that has templated flash presentations that you can use, and have your presentation ready in 20-30 minutes. It looks very slick. The cost was 30 or 40 dollars. While looking for it, I found these:
