I'm new to using Flash and am at the level of experiments so far. I use Flash MX and I want to make text anti-aliasing none, just like it's done with a simple click on Photoshop and Fireworks. I use 10pt Verdana font and I've converted it to a Button Symbol; it will eventually be a URL link. I was able to make it Antialised NONE by unchecking View -- Antialias Text; but that doesn't publish it that way -- it's only for the view. Thanks.

Use a pixel font and also look for instructions on the use of pixel fonts.

Check out:Fonts For Flash (http://www.fontsforflash.com)

One part of using them is to place them on whole numbers as Pixel-Artist said. However there are a couple other things to take into consideration.

I tried putting the text on equal pixels from top and left w/o decimals, but couldn't achieve the effect; after publishing it was still blurry. It's a shame this powerful program doesn't have a click button to turn off aliasing.
