Be "happy" that the start page only consists of images (which is BAD). Due to that it only produces 11 errors in the validator. The site is not "compatible" with screen widths lower than 1024 (and many users still have 800) => unnecessary horizontal scrollbar.
Who among us do you think needs such a thing (and even pay for it)?

It's a little bright.
I don't like the splash screen.
If someone has a small screen or low resolution they have to scroll down a while before they have an idea what they are looking at.
The splash screen makes it looks like a personal home page not a commercial website.
There's too much color, lines, and curves in the Portfolio page. It's distracting.
I'd get rid of the small green and white background with the blended curves. It's hard to read text over it and it's distracting.
You should check your site from a dial-up connection. A lot of people still use dial-up and with all your graphics things could get kind of slow.

Not sure why this "doesn't matter." (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.deepartdesign.com%2F)
Deepartd,
First I have to say I like the way your site looks. Although the orange/green scheme isn't exactly up my alley, it looks good. While you have some good skills with graphics software to produce this kind of a site, there are many technical aspects which you have neglected -- and perhaps mostly out of ignorance. I would greatly appreciate it, if you read my sticky post at the top of this forum. It concerns a few mistakes you've made, and will hopefully get you on the right track.
Your eagerness and energy is appreciated, though; a vigorous attitude toward advertising (although done in the wrong place, in this particular case) is an excellent way to outwardly display that you are a dependable web developer.

First of all, using a splash page is not advisable to use unless something unsual thing will be seen on that page. One example is a flash intro. In a corporate website, we must be direct to the point what we are offering to our beloved clients. Most viewers want fast loading results to the page they are browsing. Splash page is also used if you have an options like: ( HTML Version and FLASH Version ) Behalf of that, your design is good. Just know some part of webpage optimization. One last thing... You mispell "BOX DESIGN" :)
