This is a site I made for a school project. It is for bands or people who make their own music.

needs character encoding (http://www.w3.org/International/O-charset).

images need alt tags (http://ppewww.ph.gla.ac.uk/~flavell/alt/alt-text.html).

should disable the links to the current page to prevent visitors from accidently clicking on the link and having to wait for the page to reload.

'artists' in the menu might be better titled 'artist search' since that is what it is (unless you intend to list the artists on this page when you have more).

other than that the site looks really good. nice colors, nice graphics. you should get top marks for your school project.

when veiwign a bio if the etxt is too long it flows in to te background.
shows, register and home linsk dont work for me. im viewing in firefox. it alright in ie, but you should support both browsers. if i was a teacher i would deduct 25% if you didnt support both browsers:p it doesnt have to look the EXACT same, but they should be somewhat close and usable. the linsk didnt even work for me in firefox!

For a school project it looks awesome.

If it's for school bands that play 'Amazing Grace' or 'polkas' then the colors are ok.

If it's for schoolbands or people that make their own 'MODERN' music the colors are yucky. Modern music, rap, rock, dance even country are all promotional, loud, fun, colorful and commercial, so the site should reflect that.

Either way I like the layout, very cool.

text flows out of background for Gecko browsers. In Gecko browsers, text towards the top is not selectable. My guess is that you have some element over it, you really need to fix that, big issue.

I agree as well that you need different colours. It doesn't exactly shout out "young, hip, modern". The colours are too dull and that greenish-yellowish thing is kind of pukish, IMHO.

Thanks, I had though twice about the colors at first then said screw it. I am going to work that out some time thought.
