I am currently working with a startup marketing company and we need some advice on a programming language for our web presence.
We will have multiple phone calls coming in to access a hierarchal series of information. Our system will function roughhly the same as a 'matchmaker' hotline. A user will call the system and navigate with VOICE COMMANDS through the system, first by zipcode then by [field 1] then [field 2] and so on until they reach the information they need.
I want to be able to eventually integrate a dial through feature that utilizes VOIP to connect the caller to a destination phone #.
All of the same information on the dial up part will be available for visitors to our website as well. So basically it will be a shared database of information, on the phone end it will be accessed verbally (possibly by a text to speach translation program.)
My question is where do I start? Pretty vague I know, but we don't have the capital right now to contract this out and I am looking for resourceful sites and scripts that we can cut and paste or anyone who would be willing to let us borrow (with acknowledgement) portions of their own script/program etc...
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
