cursor in search box on page open

Can someone point me to the code that automatically places a cursor into a search box when the page is opened?
I appreciate it.

Thanks for the code, but it doesn't work with my application. Ours is a script generated search which seems to be the problem.
Any ideas how to do it with a script generated page?
