Hi, I set up a mail account for my website. Its POP3, but when I try to detect it on Outlook, the computer can't see mail.jason-allen.co.uk . Does it take time to activate, or do I need something special for it to work?

Typing in the server IP is a way around the problem. If the problem is name resolution that is. At the very least it would eliminate that as the cause if it still doesn't work.

mail.jason-allen.co.uk is not a valid mail server for your domain.

Your actual mail servers are:
mx00.1and1.co.uk and mx01.1and1.co.uk. Try using these addresses in outlook with your user name and password.
