Dear all,

I was wondering if any of you knew of ways to make money using java(without being a java pro who does networking etc). I have been trying to make games for mobile phones, but getting nokia etc SDK's to work on my old win 98 se system is a problem. Can you sell applet games to big websites like the javaboutique (google search the same) ?
Any input as to how to make java $$ would be appreciated.

Same way you would make money from any other skill.

Build your experience and expertise, then advertise. Your potential clients need to know what your capable of.

I'd consider putting up a web site (ala Pop Cap) where people could play your games as applets. Makes for great marketing for companies looking for custom games or games to license.
