Pulldown menu

sometime in my pulldown menu when i choose on the second time from the same pulldown menu it is not doing anything only if i refrash the page....anyone know how i can prevent it? or how i can refrash automaticly after i made my first selection?

i cajnge the code as u suggested i see some impruvment but still it is not working 100%...
maybe u can explain to me what the different between the return true and the return false?

improvment-before if i select item 1 then 2 and 1 again the third time will do noting now it is ok
no change
if i am selecting item 1 and then reselecting item 1 it is still doing nothing on the second time...
(on the selection it is open an popup window)
both way are working if i am clicking the refrash icon....
so maybe i can do refrash automaticly....
how i can do it and what are u think about this way of thinking...
