Please tell me what you think of:

Anything you have to say would be well appreciated.

Thank you

A bit scary, but I have a feeling that's the image you're going for. Although, I'd suggest a slightly softer shade of red, and maybe one other color to break up the suicidal-Goth color scheme.

On the homepage, you might label the drawings as links to ordering information; I was a bit confused as to where they might go.

Also, you need to put some alt text on these same images - might help if you don't wish to clutter up the page with labels.

Lastly, you might include a link to a size-chart (number equivalents to S/M/L, etc.).

Good Luck -

I like the artwork. It's original and kinda hectic which is how life seems to feel like most the time.

KDLA:

Thanks for the suggestions. I fixed the alt tags and will update the index file so that there is some way to let people know that they are linked to ordering info.

Unfortunately, the person who owns the site has his heart set on the suicidal-spooky-goth thing. I tried to talk him out of it, but he would not bend. I even made duplicate logos in different colors for him. I thought the pink one was pretty nice.

What accent color would you suggest using? All I can think of is dark grey.

Vanda:

All the artwork was done by my friend Jesse.
His site lives here: http://www.jessereno.com/
I made this one too, but it uses frames.
He asked for frames, he got frames.

Thank you both for the comments,
Mike

Well, any color not suggesting death and destruction would be good. I use this online color schemer for inspiration:
http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html

Since red is a warm color, you might balance it with small accents of light blue, such as #DCE8F4, or, as you suggested, gray (#CCCCCC). Your client may think this will "sissify" (wonderful Kentucky saying) his Third Reich design, but you might counter him with the information that studies show massive amounts of red on the screen hurt a user's eyes, and they tend not to read most of the text.

If that doesn't work, you could alter the lower half of the page so that the background was white with red accents - perhaps red vertical lines between the images (or slashes, if he/she prefers).

Good Luck -

I don't know if someone else already metioned this, but you are missing the HTML tag. Other than that you code looks pretty nice. And the over all look it ok.

Soccer:

Is the "<HTML>" neccesary when using a DTD? I have always wondered this, but never thought it was important to ask anyone. Since all of the pages validated without the "<HTML>", I thought the DTD kind of served as the "<HTML>". Thanks for pointing this out.

Yes it is necisary because the html tag tells where the actually html document starts. Doctypes only tell what version of html you are using.

wow. its all cool. but im just surprised at low your prices are. i just finishedf the marketing class at my school, and we create a line of clothing each semester, but our prices are slightly lower. its probably the supplier, but are the clothes good quality?. that might be something you should put down. say that your clothes are good quality(if they are:p), and state whether they shrink, think like a customer:D list what material they are, how big is the logo? etc. other than that, ita pretty good. :)
