I have a few links in my site, however they are in banners. Do search engines still detect them, or do I need to make them text links?

Also, what are hidden links, used to increase search engine position?

Also, what are hidden links, used to increase search engine position? for images use alternate text so people with non graphical browsers (and search engine spiders) can read your links.

also I have never heard of any 'hidden link' that imporves search engine rank.
