I have designed these (http://www2.onu.edu/~j-smith.6/testpictures.html) logos. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to critique my work and let me know what you think. The pictures are to go with my website. (http://www2.onu.edu/~j-smith.6/)

I have taken design classes and am a moderate user of Adobe Photoshop CS. Let me know what you think.

Very nice, all of them.
The one you're currently using on your site is my favoite though, the second one down on the left column reminds me of the Hyundai emblem (http://www.hyundai-motor.com/) :D

You did a very good job; I like all of them, but the one that's on your site right now is probably the best (although it looks like some of the others took a lot more work). If you remove the border and make the lines in your background line up (they look kind of off), I think it will look superb!

The one on the site is the best by far, but the colour does not match the site :confused: the star at the end of the tail is also over designed, you should simplify it.

Good work, I really like the first one also (radio mast).

I agree too, the one you're using is the best!

One thing I'ld suggest though, could you change where it says,' Personal Computer Consulant for Ohio', to something ledgible? Maybe make it bigger and shorter like,'PC Consulant for Ohio', or 'Personal Computer' and under that put 'Consulant for Ohio'? It's just not clear or clean the way it is...to me anywho.;)

I personnally like logo_02 and logo_06

and about the site logo... well..

1) that pattern looks as a flaw on the image,as if you overcompressed the image
2) the clouds on the back...that looks like you took the Win95 default background and sticked it there. which takes me to:
3) it's really easy for a designer to take some canned image and use it... no doubt it reduces design time, but when someone recognizes the background, or the resource you used,then they go :( nice work, but...

no offense, it's just that i like to make everything i use. ;)

Actually, that is custome made. I used the cloud affect on Photoshop CS. What would you like to see?
