Do not take this the wrong way but I think that a Flash only site is bad for businesses.

What if someone does not have a broadband internet connection? All they see is a white box until the thing downloads.

What if they don't have Flash or have it turned off? Again the white box.

Visually impaired and using a screen reader (not for golf obviously as you kinda need to see the ball to play) but they will learn nothing from your site.

You get the picture.

You might want to consider making an HTML site as well for these people.

Other than those things mentioned above I think it looks great! I like the golf swing sound when you click a button that is a nice touch!!! One thing you may want to think about though is that scrolling overhead picture of the course, you may want to think about making it scroll only once or so as it is kinda distracting when you are trying to read the contents. Not that I could read it anyway though lol.

All in all though, good looking site man!!! Keep it up:D

I agree with BeachSide, Flash only is not all that great. One thing that I would recommend is that you create a HTML page and have the visitor choose which one he or she wants to view. The next thing is you need a doctype. Lastly do not use tables for layout. http://www.hotdesign.com/seybold/ and http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_doctype.asp I would recommend checking those links out.

Thanks for the remarks!

Unfortunately a html site is not anymore within the budget :) but I will remember it when I creat my next website.

That is cool, if you wanted to though you could implement a low cost (take you maybe 15 mins) workaround. You could make a "portal" page that checks for Flash and what version they are using. If they do not have the required version of Flash installed and running then you give them a link to d/l and install it, or they will not be able to view it, if they do then it will automatically redirect them via a little .swf

This is the method I used for a restaurant once and it seems to work well. At least that is what the visitors tell me ;)

Thanks, I will try that out, is there some tutorial available about this?

But I wonder, when a person doesn't have the flash player, doesn't there appear an icon onevery flash element on mu page that sais to download the flash player? So than the redirect wouldn't be really necessary.

And finally, isn't it reasonable to assume that an average visitor has the flash player .Because an extra html site would be not necessary then.

Yes it tells them to get the flash player but doesn't tell them why.

I have found that people are not to kind to the prospect of installing 3rd-party software if they don't know what it is or does. If you tell them and reassure them that it is a good thing then they will love you for it as they will be able to see that great creation you have made. If they already have Flash then all they get is a blip before being redirected to your main page.

As for the tut it is on Macromedia somewhere along with the .swf file you need. I will hunt around for it and post it here when I find it.
