Help me with Interdev 6.0

Why the remote user can't check out straight from Visual Interdev project explorer?They only can check out from Visual SourceSafe explorer.

I use interdev but i am not sure if i know whats going on.
Can you explain alittle more? What exaclty do you want the remote user to check out from interdev? and anything else that may help
me understand exaclty what it is that you are trying to do.

great..at last found someone use interdev.I want the remote user to check out a file that is under source control.They can't check out straight from the interdev project explorer.They need to go Visual SourceSafe to check out.Is it mean to be like this?

i'm the administrator.I have enabled the source control.I want the remote user able to access the files from my computer.They only can access but not check out or check in thise files.They have to go Visual SourceSafe to be able to check out the files.It is meant to be like this?

Unfortuantly i do not interact with interdev that way.
