Hello,
Its been a while since I last posted, but I wanted your thoughts on this soon to be redesigned version of my website.

Its just an image but is the general idea of what we want to do.
Give me your honest opinion.
Thanks,
Seth

I really like it except it looks like your using colapsable sections and I can't really see why.

i think eventually I want to make the site dynamic. kind of like my yahoo. have the user be able to pick which sections they want. for now i had those buttons there for design, but i can get rid of them if they are confusing.
by the way if anyone knows of a good ready made script that allows users to personalize a web site I'm all ears. I havent seen much, otherwise I am going to code it.

from what i can see of the image it looks good.
clear, well organised menus.
the central section seem a bit removed from the background. obviously you want it to stand out from the background, but also to look connected. perhaps the section title blocks could be green, and/or the text links.
also, will these sub-sections all be the same width? from the image it looks like the top two are different from the others. id suggest that either they should be the same width or perhaps more visaully interesting, they could all be of different widths.
good job.

your right about the column widths. I had to make the new files section bigger so that I can handle the images and the links to the different files added. I could try to change the design of the site news and new midi files sections, to further stand out and not influence the sections below them.
as for the title color, I agree. the grey might be a little too different for the rest of the design.
any suggestions on how to organize the site news and midi files sections would be appreciated.
