you can find free web hosting on geocities (http://www.geocities.com) or doteasy (http://www.doteasy.com). The only disadvantage is that you dont get your own domain name.

I disagree. There are a number of disadvantages to using a free host over a paid host, in particular the lack of reliability and the limited features. If you can afford it, paid hosting is certainly worthwhile.

Testinging, the Lonex plan looks reasonable though I don't have personal experience with the company. I've had good results with the UK version of 1 & 1 Internet (http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=6548905), and I believe they provide similar features.

Geocities caps your bandwidth, has tons of ads, has no server side support, encourages bad code with online editors, and if you have a geocities url everyone knows you are not professional. Geocities sucks, no one should use them... ever.
