I am running a menu on my local machine created with HTML. Using hyperlinks to try and open my Outlook Express (or any other .exe) program, I keep getting the MSIE File Download warning that asks if you want to "Open" "Save" or "Cancel." With a .exe or .com file, you cannot un-check the "don't ask again" box.

If I click on "Open," it will go ahead and run my local program just fine. But the warning is very annoying. Does anyone know a way to avoid this?

I use MSIE 6.0 and the link HTML look like: <a href="c:\program files\Outlook Express\misie.exe">

Thank you.
