Getting News Headline

Hey there,

I was wondering if it's possible to code something onto our site that will get the same sort of news headlines as appear in google or yahoo news search pages. I have been looking into rss and xml but am sort of confused. I can get the rss feed for a specific keyword from yahoo, but I can't seem to parse the xml file to display the articles. Any ideas? Thanks!

well your on the right track. rss feeds and xml.

Although, i dont now much about rss feeds and xml, i can give you a quick fix for your solution.
Go to this web site, type in the web address to the rss feed,
you have the option to set a couple of settings, then
click the button and it will produce the code to stick in your
pages. It will produce the headlines for you, you just have to
embed it in your page where you want it to be displayed.
