This might have been covered before, or it might not, but whatever. I thought it might be fun if we could dig up our first webpage/website and post it. Evil I know, but I'll be the first to crucify myself. This was back not too long after September 11, 2001 that this page went up. I like to think I've come some ways since then. Here for the internet to enjoy, I present Yankee Palace (http://www.wdhaven.com/oldyankeesite.html) A few notes:
1) It's Angelfire *shudders*
2) The Javascript were those premade scripts, copy & paste jobs
3) Some of the links actually work, surprisingly enough. They're all horrendous. The forms are through Angelfire's free CGI E-mail form system, no programming on my part.
4) I didn't know what CSS was. As you see, I used it. I thought it was some fancy HTML or somesuch that only did links. Yeah, okay, I knew nothing. :p
Now I know it might be hard to find our websites, hey, I don't blame you if you "forgot it". But I had some time to kill and was going through The Internet Archive: Wayback Machine (http://www.archive.org/web/web.php), looking at Google in its infant days. And then I thought "Hey, I should see if I can find my first website!" Now, this was all but lost, or so I thought, I changed the actual page on Angelfire many a times. But this site saved it (little did they know!). So, I challenge you to have some courage and show your first website. We all have to start somewhere!
