Is Bush doing a good job?

you didnt give enough choices. In my opinion he is on some middle ground, neither good nor bad.

I could have given more choices and had a grade scale from 1-10,
but I wanted to see how many people would have the nerve to
actually vote against Bush.

Can people cheat when they vote on a poll by
checking the voting results prior to their voting?

when in doubt, just vote bad. If you vote good, it just means not enough research has been done.

Methinks this thread should just be closed now rather than later.

well...or people could stop debating as it has been done before in this thread so its kept open...and do it in other threads...or even open a new one...but this one is good...just voting!

Is there a way to prevent posting but leave the poll opened, or the like?
For the record, it should be "Bush doing Well?" However, Good or Well, the answer is still yes.

Doesn't look like a lot of people are voting. I see 100 views but only 13 votes.

While I don't disagree with EVERYTHING Bush says, I'd say a good 90% of what he has to say is BS.

Bad job.

Daniel T must realy hate Bush, look at his avatar.
The votes coming in are shocking....

Actually, I'm surprised at the results for how many goods he got. I only know about 4 Bu****es here, and thought for sure it would be dominantly the "bad" vote.

Daniet T: I'd like to hear some of the BS you think he says. Then myself or someone else can justify its truth.

Bad job. I bet you can't give me one example of a lie bush has told. If you say something about wmd you know I am going to counter it with that is what all intel at the time said, to ignore that would be to put our country in harm's way.

However I can name plenty of things clinton lied about under oath, things ted kennedy lied about, thinks jfk lied about, things moore lied about. I can name you things nixon lied about too (just so this does not seem like I am left bashing). Bush has not lied at all, but the people above have. To call Bush a liar would greatly minimize what a real lie is.

He doesn't lie, he just flat out makes stupid decisions. And "put your country in harm's way"? HA! That has to be the funniest thing I've heard all day. You hear from a little birdie that they've got a nuke or 2, so you charge your ass in their and kill thousands of innocent Iraqis? Please tell me I'm missing something. That's just sad... that the world's leading country needs to resort to full-blown invasions to find out that they're wrong.

Being honest isn't all there is to being a leader, you know.

EDIT
And when I said BS, I meant he says a lot of stuff and is somehow able to brainwash Americans into believing things, even if they are logically and/or morally WRONG.

I don't know about other countries, but here we get more news from the US than anywhere else, including Canada. Just because you don't know about any country other than your own doesn't mean we do ;)

You ignore the threat of proliferation and saddam's blatant support of groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Also "thousand's of innocent people", nice hyperbole!

So he should not be honest? Tell lies under oath like the previous president?

Excuse me? That is NOT what I said. I said that honesty isn't EVERYTHING to being a leader. That is in no way the same as "honesty isn't required to be a leader."

Damn, you patriotic, blind countrymen won't let go of your emotions. For a fact, yes, news sources outside the U.S actually give more information about what our country is doing. As an American, I have to agree with Daniel T. The BBC gives about a 200% more comprehensive view of the world situation that our stations like CNN or FOX(ewww.). All our stations are focused on is the product of a fear-washed society. (Like my new word eh? Brain-washed... Fear-washed? eh? it works.)

LOL! You probably think Bush is a Jesus reincarnate.... he lies like a madman. He lied about a threat from Iraq, yes he lied about weapons of mass destruction (Or he made a tremendous decision based on little intel, he should be fired like Dan Rather's crew ;) ). He lies about him trying to help the American people (He is the pet of buisness, like every other beauracrat out there. He lied about enviornment policies (He didn't sign the Koyoto treaty for Godsakes! :D ). He lied about not becoming a nation-building country again, he lied that he would lie about lieing about lieing to the people. He also lied about that. And that. And that. Anyways ( :) ), he's lied about a lot. Those are just a few general ones. Goodnight. Danke. Aufwiedersen. Thuss.

True in every way. for proof of this see my new signature.

Calling all George Bush Haters: if you like you could have the same signature as me  :)

Edit: if you want the full address and the bells and whistles I have in mine, just copy and paste the following and remove the minus signs on the tags.

[-quote]
From: [-url]www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/07/20040713-12.html
[-i]George W Bush said on 13 July 2004:
[-b]although we have not found stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction, we were right to go into Iraq.
George Bush is officially a professional liar, and even professional liars make mistakes in telling lies.

I tested doing this on a thread elsewhere that I didn't vote on yet,
and believe it or not, I was able to view the vote results prior
to my actual voting even when I was logged-in!
