I found a link to a petition off of Zeldman.com, and thought it worthy enough... the link was kind of buried, so it probably won't receive the full wrath of his traffic, but it's a start. So, the people here, a quick li'l sign up, to petition for everyone's favourite search engine to go standards, mm?

Standards Google Petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/mkgoogle/petition.html)

I signed. That will go in my siggy too. This forum gets a butt load of traffic. Lets all siggify it.

Oh yeah, I looked at who signed and read this:
153. David Harrison For every day that Google isn't standards complient, I rape a small child. Help stop the tears, make a difference, make it valid.

If that does not convince them I do not know what will!

Yeah, what a sicko that guy is, I'm sure glad I'm not him.

I've got mixed feelings about unleashing Dave at that thread, but maybe it'll get 'em moving, eh?

I'd like to say this much- the Stop Ashlee Simpson (http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?StopAsh) petition got above 300k signings. If a petition to get the most influential site in existence to step into today can't beat that, it'll just be sad.

Double posting is gay, I think they need email verification on this site. No one will listen to us if we have people using the petition like a guest book. I think there needs to be a petition against the poor setup of this petition site.

I maintain that mods should be able to ban users from their particular forum. That way skinner can feel important. And since no one cares about the .Net forum, we can let Nick run wild. :D

Just curious... have you mods, admins, and supermods actually seen each other face to face? If not, don't you love how this community works, when it is actually so seperated and diverse...... cool.

PS: I have not seen any of the other mods face to face, but I have talked to many via mic and I have seen pics so I have a bit of an idea. But I do plan on moving down to australia on of these days... I am going to room with buntine.

BTW, I wouldn't run from you Skinner, as long as you kept your shirt on and didn't seem to remember that I call you wookie.

according to his prof he is 18, according to his pic he is a dude with a long black hair and has a very light skin tone *cough* pale *cough*. But I guess that could be a pic of someone else and his prof could be a lie. But if this 43 year old woman likes to act like an 18 year old boy then she is my kind of... nm that is creepy, you are right.

If all the people looking at source code for the first time got the idea to make well-coded sites rather than code soup?
