Hi, i have the following error

Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A000D)
Type mismatch: 'cdate'
/webapps/telecost/mobile/secured/update_data.asp, line 60

i do not understand why it is mismatch because i declare 2 other variables
and those were not higlighted.

strdate1 = cdate(strdate1)

I think you'll find that request.form("sim") doesn't have a date in it.

try Response.Write "sim: " & Request.Form("sim")

and you'll see
