Site Management with Visual Interdev

hi,
What are the requirements (softwares/configurations)) for us to be able to direct access to our Live Site to edit our site by using Visual Interdev and how does the Authetication need to be done??

As I know, our site must be a FrontPage Server Extended web. Is it true?? What about if the Server Extended is not installed???

Please advice!

What about if the Server Extended is not installed??? Hi charon...
If FrontPage Server Extensions are not installed, you cannot create "projects". And when you move files between directories, the links will not be automatically updated for you.
(I know this because my home PC is not properly set-up for Visual InterDev and I am forced to develop like a cavewoman. In other words... it's just like developing in FrontPage. lol).

My suggestion is: If you are having trouble getting it configured properly, just pay someone who knows how to set it up properly.
