so last night i watched Saw with some friends of mine. the first 85% of the movie was hilarious. we mainly made fun of danny glover and other stupid stuff in the movie and came up with lines like "He got headbutted by Miss Piggy!" and "How weird would it be if Jeff Goldblum popped out of the toilet right now?"( the latter is a reference to www.jeffgoldblumiswatchingyoupoop.com ). but i was impressed by the ending. i thought that the complex wiring that had been lain was well tied up at the end.

talk about some other movies!

I like action movies myself. I like James bond movies.

I watched recently "Troy", and that was about the legendary city of troy. the younger prince (of troy) has an offair with the queen of Greece and the king is not happy and asks his brother to join him in attacking City of Troy.

and I thought it was a good one.

Edit: I hate movies that have poor stupid humour to get the audience to laugh.

The funniest movie is white noise. The guys dead wife was saying go now and he never once interpreted as get the heck out of there... he would ask "go where, where can I help people". This one dude who was sticking tape recorders in empty rooms was savagely raped by ghostes and he did not get that. I mean this guy was asking to be raped... and then at the end of the movie he wound up dead with broken legs. The ghostes raped him in a very morbid way.

lol That movie was weak... Needed more brutality!

Try and find Uzumaki. Its a wicked Japanese film that has an obsession with spirals -- so much so that the guy commits suicide in the washing machine. haha I love it.

If we're talking about the ultimate lame "scary" movies here, I just have to mention Plan 9 from Outer Space. Just watched it in my film study class, and I couldn't stop laughing. It has Bela Lugosi in it. Well, it sort of does. Anyone who's seen it knows what I'm talking about. He died shortly into filming and they replaced him with some random guy they thought kind of looked like him. Ahh...best movie ever.

Most B-Grade horrors are comedic.

Helter Skelter is a good film. Old, but good.

That is the manson documentary is it not?

the evil dead movies were not supposed to be horror movies though, they are spoofs. "Shop smart shop s mart", "this is my boom stick", so on and so fourth.

Its not a documentary. But, yer, it follows the Manson story, starting with the police discovering the Tate crime scene.

They are both quotes from Army of Darkness. The first Evil Dead film was a horror. It was not supposed to be a comedy. Nobody found it scary, though.

Regards.

My sister took me to the movies last night for my birthday present.

We watched “Constantine” with Keanu Reeves and it was about demons and angels on the prime material plain and it is a similar movie to "The Mummy" and was really good. I am not going to go into details because I might start a debate on religion.

But the whole thing was good movie wise. I lurved it. How come gabriel is always an evil lesbian in movies like this?

Dark Comedies:

- No Man's Land (Won an Oscar and Cannes Film Festival)
- Attack the Gas Station! (Hard to find Korean film, but really good)
- Tiger on the Beat (Chinese version of Lethal Weapon. eg Kung-Fu, lots of violence)
- Versus (Japanese zombie film with brutal kung-fu)

a good dark comedy is 'employee of the month'. It has a lot of plot twists and is damn funny.

Seeing that it was just on TV, and that Mel Brooks was mentioned earlier on, I feel I must express my love for Spaceballs (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094012/). Very funny movie.
